We Live in Dangerous Times

It’s dangerous to go alone. Take this.

The Danger Map is a publicly editable, anonymous map for sharing local hazards and safety concerns with your neighbors. It’s designed to be resilient, decentralized, and community driven, syncing data across multiple independent servers and sites that all share the same network of information.

No single server or platform controls the data. If one goes down, the others keep the map alive.

If you’re running your own server, you can help strengthen the network by running an Automerge Repo Sync Server. Let us know and we’ll add your instance to the list of peers so your data syncs with the rest of the network.

If you want to host your own copy of the map, fantastic. We can help you get started. Setup is simple, and every new host makes the system more resilient for everyone.

We keep each other safe, and knowledge is power. Use the Danger Map to warn your neighbors and stay informed together.
